Our students will have access to the 250,000+ acres available to Big Buck Outfitters, Inc.’s hunting clients. Other schools talk about accessing this ranch, or that ranch … Elite Guide School has access to dozens of ranches and hundreds of thousands of acres. Our areas cover mountains, prairies, and in between. This varied terrain includes river bottoms, classic aspen woodlands, pine woodlands, swamplands, brush cover, agricultural crop land -- a fairly inclusive representation of the varied habitats of whitetail deer across the country. This area is a game rich environment to say the least. It is possible to see hundreds of game animals each day, allowing our students plenty of opportunity at not just book learning, but hands-on, in-the-field study of live game. We don’t know of an area of the world that can rival our number and diversity of game: we have whitetail deer, turkey, mule deer, elk, antelope, coyote, bobcat, mountain lion, fox, black bear, badger, pheasant, sharptail grouse, Hungarian partridge, ruffed grouse, ducks, geese, prairie dogs … and the list goes on. Over the years, our operation has been featured on countless television shows and videos, including Mossy Oaks Hunting the Country, Non-Stop Hunting, American Archer, Whitetail Properties, Steve's Outdoor Adventures, LL Bean Outdoors, The Hunter's Journal, and many more.
